In 2012, our annual Chamber Music Festival will be held from Sunday, July 29th through Sunday, August 12th. We will be offering a workshop on the study and performance of Mozart Sonatas as part of the Chamber Music program.
The sixth Conducting Masterclass will be held Sunday evening, July 22nd through Saturday evening, July 28th, led by Maestro Kenneth Kiesler.
Waterville Valley Music Center is a non-profit cultural and educational organization staffed by well-known international musicians and experienced musical pedagogues. Established in 1996 through the efforts of President and Artistic Directors David Segal, Hanna Lachert, and Yuval Waldman, WVMC was created to offer classical music at its highest level and provide cultural enrichment to White Mountains residents and visitors through a series of concerts and recitals. Over the years, a summer educational program for young string players was instituted and 2007 saw our first conductors workshop. While we endeavor to add more educational programs throughout the year for both students and adults we look forward to reintroducing the concert series as part of these programs.
